Configuring Efficient SpeedStream Router

1. Using a web browser, login to your SpeedStream. If you need help with this, read the documentation that came with your SpeedStream.

2. Under the "Configuration Procedures" title, click "Firewall". It looks like this:

firewall

3. Change "Firewall Mode" to "Low".

4. Under the "Configuration Procedures" title, click "Port Forwarding". Scroll down. It looks like this:

port forwarding

5. For "Protocol", select either TCP or UDP according to the table on the main router page. If you are not sure, it is probably TCP.

6. For "Starting Port Number", type the port number of the program you want to use. For example, for KDX Server you would put 10700 (unless you changed it).

7. For "Server", type the LAN address of the computer that is running the program you want to use (for example, KDX Server). The address will look something like "192.168.254.5".

8. Leave the other text boxes unchanged.

9. Click the "Add Service" button.
