Configuring DrayTek RouterSuch as:"Vigor2200" 1. Using a web browser, login to your DrayTek router to get to the "Setup Main Menu" screen. 2. Under "Advanced Setup", click "NAT Setup". 3. Then click "Configure Port Redirection Table", and this screen appears:
4. In the "Service Name" box, type the name of the program you want to use. For example, KDX Server. 5. For "Protocol", select either TCP or UDP according to the table on the main router page. If you are not sure, you can do both. 6. In both the "Public Port" and "Private Port" boxes, type the port number of the program you want to use, according to the table on the main router page. For example, 10700 for KDX Server. 7. In the "Private IP" box, type the LAN address (for example, 192.168.1.5) of the computer that is running the program you want to use (for example, KDX Server). 8. Tick the "Active" box. 9. Click the "OK" button.
Finding Your Public Internet AddressYou cannot tell someone on the internet to connect to you using an address that begins with 192.168.x.x because this is the private LAN address of your computer. You need to tell them your public/real IP address instead, which can be obtained as follows. 1. Login to your DrayTek router the same as above. 2. Under "System Management", click "Online Status", and this screen appears:
3. Under "WAN Status", look for "IP Address", and that is your public IP address. In the above example screenshot, it is where it says "194.199.232.283".
