Instructions for KDX Sound List FilesA KDX Sound List file contains a list of sounds that can be used by KDX. Sounds are played when their corresponding action occurs. For example, KDX will play the "File Transfer Done" sound in the currently selected Sound List when a file transfer has finished transferring. To use a KDX Sound List file, first decompress it (unzip it or unstuff it). Then create a folder named "Sound Lists" in the same folder as the KDX Client program. Put your KDX Sound List files into that folder. Then go to Settings, and now the Sound List menu shows the contents of that folder. Select the Sound List file you want, and you are done.
Creating Your Own KDX Sound ListSound List files are created and modified using KDXSoundListEdit, which you can download from the Haxial website. Note that this utility is only required if you wish to create your own Sound List (or modify an existing one) -- it is not required if you simply want to use an existing Sound List.
UnofficialThese Sound List files are unofficial, meaning they were not produced by Haxial. Fans of Haxial e-mail Sound List files they have created to Haxial, and Haxial includes them in the collection of Sound Lists. Haxial is providing this collection of unofficial Sound Lists as a convenience to you. If you have a Sound List file that you want to contribute, you can contact Haxial.
